EURIBOR

EURIBOR, which initially did not meet the requirements of the EU Benchmark Regulation (BMR), was reformed.

The reformed calculation of the EURIBOR according to the so-called "Hybrid Methodology" is now primarily based on money market transactions by the panel banks. In addition, the governance of the EURIBOR process was also adapted to the new requirements.

EURIBOR was recognised as BMR-compliant by the competent Belgian supervisory authority FSMA. The administrator EMMI (European Money Markets Institute) has been registered in the ESMA Benchmark Registry.

This means that the EURIBOR can now be used without restrictions.
